Designed to meet IMO MSC.95(72) performance standards for daylight signalling lamps under SOLAS Chapter V (independent testing in progress).
The Trident is a hand-held LED marine signal lamp for ship-to-ship and ship-to-shore signalling from the bridge. It replaces the traditional Aldis lamp with a bright LED source that needs no bulb changes, and selectable red, white and green signals. A two-position trigger locks on for a steady beam or flashes manually for Morse code signalling.
Its waterproof IP67 design suits exposed bridge wings and open decks, and it runs from its own rechargeable battery, independent of the ship's power supply. A desk cradle and charger keep it ready on the bridge.
